Fightin' Words server shutting down on April 30, 2015

In an email I received from the app developer on April 27, 2015, Fightin' Words server will be shutting down at the end of this month. Citing the reasons were maintaining a mobile app is hardwork, requiring updates and maintenance. "If we were to continue given the current environment and our other obligations, we’re afraid quality may suffer. We don’t want that. For these reasons, we’re choosing to end on our own terms. After all, every good fighter knows when it’s time to hang up the gloves.", they added.

At the end of their message, they thanked the Fightin' Words players, and maybe someday we'll cross paths with some new endeavor.
